Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator

  • Position Overview:
    MCPA is seeking a motivated Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator to help grow our programs and connect with prospective students. This volunteer role is essential for expanding our reach, engaging with schools, and promoting the arts to new participants.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events for MCPA programs

    • Establish and maintain relationships with local band programs, schools, and community organizations

    • Conduct classroom visits and presentations to share information about our ensembles and opportunities

    • Develop strategies for student outreach and engagement

    • Assist with marketing and promotional materials to support recruitment efforts

    • Track outreach activities and report on outcomes to help improve recruitment strategies

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Organized and able to manage multiple outreach initiatives

    • Experience in event planning or educational program recruitment is a plus

  • Position Overview:
    MCPA is seeking enthusiastic Content Creators to help plan and produce engaging content for our social media platforms. This volunteer role is ideal for creative individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation while supporting a mission-driven arts organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, develop, and produce engaging content for MCPA’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

    • Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to align content with marketing campaigns, events, and organizational goals

    • Capture photos, videos, graphics, or written content to showcase programs, performances, and community engagement

    • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all content

    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience or interest in photography, videography, graphic design, or digital content creation

    • Strong creativity and attention to detail

    • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends

    • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with a team
